About

We gained experience translating a statistical update into an infographic. We were given more information than we needed to make the infographic and we were tasked with coming up with a narrative structure. Our focus was on the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on vulnerable groups.

Process

We decided to break it down into three major groups and create a small graphic illustrating the issues facing each group. We learned to edit ourselves in order to get the most important information to come across clearly.

Goal: Science Communication

Infographics are powerful tools that can be used to communicate scientific findings efficiently and in a way that is understandable for a broad audience.
